The kitchen is the hub of Life. I could always found my Mother, Grandmother, Aunts and Cousins in their kitchens.. gathering, talking and preparing food. What warm wonderful smells come back to me. Then the Television changed the center gathering spot in our homes.
I am happy to see more of the open floor plans where the kitchen and TV are no longer competing but blend into a friendlier family gathering time.
